Yeaps, just 10 more days to go.
During yesterday's practice, though everyone was exhausted & hot with the long sleeves and skirt/pants attire, it was our best 大组ever. :D (claps!) And that's cause our hearts were one, our minds were focused, our eyes on Conductor, and we flowing with the music. We have definitely improved a lot from our previous practices, not to say in just one practice. This is a journey to what we want >>(GOLD WITH HONOURS!), and we are nearing it.(:
Just a few weeks ago, when we played our pieces, Conductor said we were only qualified for Silver, then a few practices ago, he said we were borderline gold. At the start of our practice yesterday, he said, "最多只能拿到Gold, 最多只是Gold,不可能Gold with Honours 了. *sighs*" But then when we ended practice yesterday, he said we were at the borderline of Gold and GOLD WITH HONOURS! And that's what we are aiming for right? :D
We know it has been strenous on everyone of you, having to balance between homework, tests and hours of CO Practice. We appreciate your effort to stay awake during CO practice after a tiring day of school. But we also know that you are capable of greater deeds, like putting in extra effort to play your best, paying extra attention to what the conductor is saying. That is the price we have to pay if we want to get Gold with Honours. But also remember this, You are in an Orchestra. So basically, WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER! (:
Dont see it as just a fight with another school's CO,
but how much we can achieve together as one Chinese Orchestra.
